A simple service contract

Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Saylog. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. During private preview, features, availability, and commercial terms may still change.

Effective 8 August 2026

01

The service

Saylog records, preserves, synchronizes, transcribes, plays, and searches voice notes. Source audio remains the reference; transcription can contain errors and is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, safety, or emergency advice.

Saylog is designed to retry accepted work through outages, but capture that never reaches durable client storage cannot be recovered. Browser best-effort storage may be evicted before upload, and the interface identifies that reduced guarantee.

02

Your account and content

You are responsible for your sign-in account, devices, lawful recording, and obtaining any consent required before recording other people. Do not upload content you lack the right to process or use Saylog to violate law, privacy, intellectual property, or another person’s safety.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Saylog the limited permission needed to store, copy, transmit, transcode, transcribe, and display it for you and to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

03

Plans and allowance

Paid plans renew monthly and include the standard transcription allowance shown before purchase. Different transcription modes may consume allowance at a clearly stated multiplier. Running out of allowance pauses new transcription; it does not delete already accepted source audio.

Prices, taxes, renewal terms, trials, cancellation, refunds, and payment support are presented and administered by the purchase channel: Link for Stripe Managed Payments, the App Store, or Google Play. Manage or cancel through the same channel. Deleting Saylog does not itself cancel a store subscription.

04

Fair use and availability

Do not probe, disrupt, overload, resell, scrape, automate abusive traffic, evade allowance accounting, or attempt to access another account. We may limit or suspend activity needed to protect users and the service, and will preserve source data where reasonably possible while resolving an account issue.

We may modify or discontinue preview features. Planned changes that materially affect paid use will be communicated through the service or the relevant purchase channel.

05

Disclaimers and responsibility

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, Saylog disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, provider outages, transcription mistakes, or loss caused by a user’s device, credentials, browser eviction, or unlawful recording.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable consumer law does not permit us to exclude.

06

Ending use and contact

You may stop using Saylog and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts for serious abuse, legal requirements, or security risk. Provisions that by their nature concern ownership, payment records, liability, or legal compliance survive closure.
